Warehousing services

Our facilities offer clients warehousing that's fully integrated into the wider supply chain to meet demanding service levels. The warehouse service supports inbound and outbound logistics, provides inventory management, reduces total operating costs and improves delivery times. We use the latest technology to manage the client relationship through our Warehouse Management System – incorporating barcode and RF capabilities and Internet stock visibility. The WMS records all actions of your products and orders whilst in the warehouse and accurately records their location.

From initial enquiry through to the arrival, processing and final delivery of your products, you will benefit from a dedicated Account Manager, together with knowledgeable and experienced staff. We pride ourselves on a personal service that is sometimes lacking with the larger organisations.

Class A Bonded Warehouse

Spatial currently operates two bonded facilities to the benefit of all customers.

Shipments are cleared into the bonded facility and held in a secure, customs controlled area. All stock movements in and out of the facility are controlled via Spatial Logistics, which electronically bar codes all items to ensure complete control and peace of mind for all parties.

By utilising our bonded facility, we offer the ability to delay duties and taxes until a sale is completed. With peak season charges and increasing capacity issues on inbound vessels, it makes operational sense to get your shipments into the UK and held centrally, ensuring quick delivery to your customers once a sale is made.

Pick & pack, kitting and sorting

Many of our clients require some form of value added service for their goods while they are stored. These range from product kitting and sorting, to physical alterations to the product. Picking and packing into a specific unit is a popular option, and experienced operational staff, proficient in that activity, supervise all functions.

Inventory management

All products moving in and out of the warehouse are monitored and reported and any changes in product status are also noted. Clients can utilise our in-house systems, or establish their own network for data collection; either option will allow constant inventory management. With password protected stock lists always available on line, our clients can manage their stock to their best advantage.

UK and worldwide distribution

Our facilities are utilised as a storage and consolidation point for inbound products requiring domestic distribution within the UK, or for outbound products that may require specific packing and distribution internationally. Our in-house post, courier and freight services, together with managed third-party suppliers, provide our clients with the complete package and an end-to-end managed solution.
