In 1997 Spatial was recognised as 'Investors In People'. This standard sets out the criteria or indicators for best practices, which are employed by successful companies for managing the effective investment in one major resource — PEOPLE.

Investors In People represents:

• A standard towards which companies can work
• A guideline for the actions required for effective investment in people to produce the required result
• A benchmark against which progress can be measured
